Latino Founders Appoints Zimri Rodriguez as Inaugural Accelerator Manager

Portland, Oregon - January 6, 2025 - Latino Founders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the growth and success of underserved businesses, proudly announces the appointment of Zimri Rodriguez as the first manager of their accelerator program. Zimri experience as a community builder to support entrepreneurs and her understanding of how early-stage capital can be deployed will help shape our program to help founders scale their startups.

In this new role, Zimri will lead the Latino Founder’s accelerator program; besides recruiting startups and mentors, she will help design sector-specific programs to support entrepreneurs across the region.


“Empowering Latino startups through a thriving accelerator program is essential to cultivating economic growth, celebrating cultural diversity, and building a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem that drives lasting impact,” said Zimri Rodriguez. I’m honored to be stepping into this role to continue Latino Founders work and support entrepreneurs' scalable ventures that will contribute to the economic development of our region and wealth creation in our community.

With Zimri, we have an opportunity to provide tailored support to each entrepreneur as they work on scaling their startups and help them succeed in the market place”

Zimri is the Chicago chapter leader of the La Familia Foundation, a nonprofit empowering Latino entrepreneurs and investors; she was the community manager of Unite US, a technology company connecting healthcare, government, and community organizations to coordinate care, manage social services, and track outcomes.


Zimri Rodriguez is set to assume the position of Accelerator Manager starting January 1st, 2025
